  2. Hi Laura,
    STAP cells could possibly be used to ‘seed’ a person’s tissues and thus give us individuals corresponding to those in your novel. It looks as if they will be available easily for any individual. Thousands of small labs with smart young scientists could well become impossible for government to regulate. It’s a fascinating future to speculate about.
